Pre-ordering secures cookware from our first production run at some of the lowest prices we will ever offer. You're also guaranteed to not miss out if we sell through the initial batch.
How does pre-ordering work?

At checkout we place a $1 authorization on your card to lock in your order. The remaining balance is captured when we are ready to ship (currently scheduled for July 1, 2025). You will receive an email at every key step: order placed, balance charged, shipped, delivered.

$1 is authorized today. The rest is charged on July 1, 2025, or on the revised ship date if that changes. We always email at least 48 hours before any new charge dates.
We will not charge you earlier than the stated date at the time you place your order.
If your payment method is declined, you will need to place a new order - contact hello@chefgrade.com with both order numbers and we can re-apply the Founders Discount if needed.

All pre-orders leave our Connecticut warehouse between July 1 and July 15, 2025.
Will I get tracking info?

Yes. You will receive a tracking link by email as soon as your label is created and you can view this in your Order Status page linked from your Order Confirmation email.

Email updates are sent when your order is confirmed, when the balance is charged, when it ships, and when it is delivered. You can always view your Order Status page linked from your order-related emails.

If production or freight delays move our ship window, we will email you with the new date and offer a full, no-questions refund if the timing no longer works for you.

Email hello@chefgradegear.com before your balance is charged and we’ll update the address. After the charge we’ll try, but once a label is printed we can’t guarantee we'll be able to change it.

You may cancel anytime before the full charge on July 1.
After the charge, contact us as soon as possible; if it has not shipped we will cancel and refund the order. If it has shipped, simply use our Free 30-Day returns once it arrives.
How do I add/remove items?

We can only refund items if you need to make modifications to an existing order. If you need to add items, you will need to place a separate order. We can cancel the original if needed.

Yes - place any new order before July 15, 2025, and the Founders 15 % discount will apply. After July 15 regular pricing takes effect.

Every purchase is covered by our 30-Day Perfect Fit return: contact us within 30 days of delivery, receive a prepaid return label, and get a full refund once the item is received in original condition. See our full Return Policy for details.

What is the lifetime guarantee?
All products carry a lifetime defect warranty backed by the original manufacturer. If a tool fails during normal use, we replace it—no runaround. Coverage applies to material or manufacturing defects, not wear, tear, or misuse, and we handle the replacement directly.
